Unfortunately I once again won't be participating in Artfight this year, as much as I'd love to. I'm still trying to recover from the worst burnout I've faced in years while also working on stuff I've been putting off. Sorry.
I'm just a small time artist who likes making OCs for fun. Hopefully I'll meet some cool people here.
Please don't follow if you're under 18, I post some pretty spicy stuff from time to time.

So I know I already kinda posted about them earlier, but I'm once again advertising the fact that my commissions are open and cheaper than ever now.

Burwood is the capital city-state of the Federal Territories, being located in a southeastern region of the country. It was built on top of the ruins of a previous city-state that fell around the time magic first disappeared. It's said that those ruins were built on top of an even earlier city-state, but archaeologists are still researching them. It consists of the capital city Tripolis, several small suburban towns, a quarry, a large forest, and even a small artificial desert within the forest as a result of magic that went wrong a millennium ago. Though it was originally founded by elves and humans, it's now much more diverse. Tripolis was built around the Fait River, a large river that feeds into the ocean. Its main draws are its government buildings and several colleges, with students from other city-states coming to Tripolis just to get their degrees.
The climate is roughly comparable to Georgia.

I'm seriously thinking of doing art trades soon, but only if people are interested and if I don't get overwhelmed. There's still some WIP stuff on my plate I need to take care of.

Even though this world I've made is pretty big, most of Lunar Syzygy's action takes place in or off the coast of the country known as the Federal Territories. Once much more united, it's now a loose group of walled city-states, with some small unwalled towns and villages outside the walls and plenty of wilds between them all. They have walls to keep out vicious monsters living in the aforementioned wilds, from creatures that resemble larger versions of normal animals to strange hybrids. These monsters have such an intense taste for sentient flesh that monster hunting is a common blue collar job. Some monsters have made it past the walls but they usually don't last long.
The city-states can get fairly large, encompassing forests, quarries and multiple towns and cities, among other things. Most of them are interconnected by a transcontinental maglev railway that makes travel between them fairly quick. Otherwise travelers will have to take the roads and pray their cars don't get attacked. The people living outside the city-states are usually tribes or nomadic groups who have been living just fine without walls for centuries, and they'll continue to do so for as long as possible. The Federal Territories' government is run by three diverse elected officials and a senate.
Though they have technology like maglev trains, cars, and even robots, most of the Federal Territories' technology level is at that of America in the early 2000s.

I've shared it somewhere else but I might as well share my lore dumps here too.
Lunar Syzygy takes place on Tellus, a planet much like ours with the main difference being that it was heavily affected by the actions of gods, magic, and various supernatural beings. Many different sentient races live here, the main five being humans, elves, dwarves, gnomes, and orcs. There's plenty of other sentient beings, from dragons, to fairies, to nymphs, but they're not as common. The planet's magic takes the form of an energy field that permeates the planet and the beings on it. However, a thousand years before our story begins, magic just up and disappeared, with only very small amounts of it still remaining. This leaves humans and orcs unable to harness it and the other races being severely weakened. Most of the world's dragon population ended up dying off. The next 900 years result in civilizations dependent on magic crumbling, with some eventually developing technology to fill the void that it left. Magic becomes a lost art until over 100 years in the past, when those with close connections to it, mostly elves and gnomes, are somehow able to reconnect. Even then, it's still very weak, consisting of simple illusions and other tricks. That is, until present day when a human becomes the first in 1000 years to harness magic. This is where our story begins.

Wanna upload more art but some of it spoils the hypothetical webcomic I've been brainstorming for like a year and a half. Unfortunately NG doesn't have a spoiler tag that I know of. I also wanna upload more semi-old stuff, mostly EF art, but it's just gonna make me look unfocused as an artist.

Been trying to make Newgrounds my main hub but I've been dumping lore on another site. Keeping all my OC stuff in one place is probably more convenient, innit?

This year's been pretty crazy and I haven't had time to sit down and organize stuff, there's still a bunch of DA art that I haven't uploaded here along with some fresh new art. I'll try and make more time to post stuff here, but there's a lot distracting me and I've been really unfocused.

So as you may know, I've got a Deviantart account but I've been posting here more often. Today DA decided to shoot itself in the foot by forcing everyone to switch to the much-maligned Eclipse layout by May of next month. Since that layout is incredibly awkward to use, I'll definitely be using Newgrounds more in the future if not switching to Newgrounds entirely.
